Abu Ghraib Torture Is it a sign of a strong president to stick to a defense secretary who obviously knew much earlier about the Abu Ghraib tortures before they were unveiled in public? Is it a sign of a strong president not to avoid the circumstances that lead to the Abu Ghraib tortures? Are these the values that Mr Gorge Bush wants to defend when he is sending troops to foreign countries? Are these values other nations would admire when thinking of the United States? War on terror Is it a sign of a strong leader to invade a country (Iraq) that has had evidently no links to terror at all before and thus create terrorism in this country (Iraq) where there was admittedly a tyrant ruling but according to all secret service information from all countries around the globe neither weapons of mass destructions nor were there any links to terrorism? Or isn't it more a sign of a man not knowing what he should do when being confronted with terrorism and simply hitting on any man he can get with violence but not knowing exactly whom to address?

Prisoners in Guantanamo Is it a sign of a strong leader to keep prisoners in Guantanamo without access to appeal a court and disregarding international law? Or wouldn't it be a sign of a strong leader to obey international law and exactly find out who of the Guantanamo prisoner is a terrorist and who not? Are these the sort of "values" that George W Bush wants to defend when he is sending troops to foreign countries? Are these values other nations would admire when thinking of the United States? Service in the National Guard Can a man be called a strong leader who was not very often seen in the National Guard (not even for regular dental exams)? How can such a man send other parents children to war when he did not do his service in the National Guard at a time when other fellows of the same age had to fight in Vietnam? How did George W Bush react when he learned about the terrorist attacks of September, 11 2001? A video shows that Mr George W Bush was visiting an elemtary school at that time. When he was told about the terror attacks he did not immediately leave the class room to go back to office, he started rather to read educational books and started to sing with the children. Do you think that a president that obviously can not judge the scope of such a terror attack is a strong leader? As the attack took place, Mr. Bush was on his way to an elementary school in Florida. When informed of the first plane hitting the World Trade Center, where terrorists had struck just 8 years prior, Mr. Bush decided to go ahead with his photo opportunity. When the second plane hit the tower, his chief of staff entered the classroom and told Mr. Bush the nation is under attack. Not knowing what to do, with no one telling him what to do, and no Secret Service rushing in to take him to safety, Mr. Bush just sat there and continued to read My Pet Goat with the children. Global Warming Is it a sign of a strong leader to ignore scientific consensus on critical issues such as global warming, and hampering cooperation with foreign scientists? Or wouldn't it be better to help to save a better future for our children by preventing global warming, signing the Kyoto treaty and helping to save energy for our children and grandchildren?
